User Profile Embeds
When you share an AO3 user link in Discord, Archivist shows a user embed automatically. The embed gives you profile details from AO3 so you do not need to leave Discord.
Included information
Section titled “Included information”- Username — the user’s name, with a link to their profile
- Icon — the user’s icon, if they have one
- Pseuds — any pseudonyms the user has
- Joined — the date the user created their AO3 account
- Works — how many works the user has, with links to the pages
- Series — how many series the user has, with links to the pages
- Collections — how many collections the user has, with links to the pages
- Bookmarks — how many bookmarks the user has, with links to the pages
- Gifts — how many gifts the user has, with links to the pages
- Profile — any profile text the user has written
If the profile is too long, Archivist splits it across pages. This keeps the embed small and easy to read.
If you did not post the link, the pages appear in a temporary message only you can see. That way each person can control their own copy of the embed.
User embed looks can be changed using the settings command. You can make all user profile embeds post to the same channel with the redirect.
